The process of creating my art is a form of meditation.  I become absorbed in the creative moment while time flies.  I create to let go of the world and to experience inner peace.  Taking time to look and see what's really out there is my constant challenge.  Uncovering the beauty, capturing and conveying it visually to others is the ultimate goal.

I consider my artistic style eclectic and myself a life-long learner and supporter of the arts.  I am constantly reading about the arts, attending exhibitions and surrounding myself with creative people and their diverse creative energies.  Although primarily a self-taught artist, I have had numerous influences by artists, musicians, instructors, architects and life itself.  My military career has placed me within an arm's reach of some of the most beautiful and inspirational spaces, places and people the world has to offer.
